How to make a device for weeding
I took a strip of spring steel measuring 420x40x0.7 mm, from both edges retreated along 10 mm and drilled one hole d 6,5 mm. From them measured the distance back in 75 mm and made the same holes.
From a strip of the same steel cut off 2 pieces of 90 mm. From the edge of each at a distance of 10 mm drilled holes d 6,5 mm. Again retreated 75 mm and drilled holes.
Used a shank length 2000 mm and d 30 mm. Retreated from its end 25 mm and drilled a hole d 6,5 mm. At a distance of 75 m from it drilled a similar hole.
A rectangular piece 30x30x25 mm was cut from the hardwood panel of wood and a hole d 6,5 mm was made in the middle of it.
I assembled the design according to the drawing on 3 bolt MB (see photo above) The working part of the product - trapezoidal form - is attached to the handle. The lower part of the device is so large that it can easily pass between rows of plants on the bed.
Thus, we have obtained a tool of the simplest design that performs the role of a flat-blade. I am very glad!
