How long is the storage life of the prepared solutions of Epin and Gumat potassium?
#
A solution of Epine is best used within a day. But the solution of Gumat potassium in a sealed container in a dark place can be stored for even a month.

I heard that iodine is used to treat the garden. I just didn’t understand in which cases it is used ...
#
I always have iodine in the dacha, which I use to prevent fungal diseases on plants (gray rot of strawberries, powdery mildew of currant and gooseberry, boiled-rust, monolithic stone fruit). I prepare the solution this way: I take some iodine in a syringe and slowly squeeze 10 drops into 10 l of water (important: do not pour a whole vial into the bucket!). In spring, by this composition, I spray all the plants in the garden twice before bud formation.
I will dwell on some cultures in more detail.
Strawberry garden (strawberry). In the Leningrad region, it blooms in early June, so I plant the plantation with iodine solution from the beginning of May - twice at an interval of 10-12 days. I repeat the procedure after picking berries.
Tomatoes.
For the prevention of phytophthora after planting seedlings in the ground and abundant watering, I pour more under each bush into a liter of iodine solution, and then mulch the soil. In the rainy summer in the second half of July, with the threat of late blight, I plant in a bucket of water, in addition to 10 drops of iodine, another 1 l of milk and spray the plants twice.
For colors, the concentration of iodine solution can be increased to 15 drops per bucket of water.
