Mini sawmill with electric motor with own hands
I WANT TO SHARE MY WAY OF MANUFACTURING A THREE-UNIT WOODWORKING MACHINE. I OPERATED THE DESIGN ASSEMBLED FROM HANDLING MATERIALS FOR YEARS YEARS — THE RESULT IS SATISFIED. I WILL BE GLAD IF MY IDEA IS ANY FIT.
The device of a self-made mini-saw bench
Drew an approximate sketch of the future design. The machine has turned out collapsible (it is very convenient to store) and consists of three blocks:
1. Cutting-sawing-milling (photo 1)
2. Start-capacitor (photo 2).
3. Power - with a tensioner and a chip guide (photo)
For the first node of a channel with a width of 10 cm, we welded a rectangular frame (photo 1, item 1). He fixed on it two worktops (2) and a jig cutter (3) from an old circular saw. The table details were fixed in such a way that they were adjusted in height (see Fig.). For the convenience of processing blanks, the design was supplemented with an adjusting roller (4)
The second block (I was ready, but it can be collected under an available engine) Tighten the screws on the pre-welded pipes from d 32 mm frame (photo 2p. 1). It consists of a magnetic starter, a three-button switch, a set of capacitors and a cable.
The power unit - a three-phase motor type A-032 2 power 220 / 380 2850 In a number of revolutions / min, mounted on the welded tube from d 40 mm frame.. Above the motor was fixed the guide channel for sawdust.
From sheet steel thickness 6 mm produced an additional table with an emphasis (photo 4) for cutting blanks of the same width.

Important!
The platform with the engine needs to be fastened on a frame hinge, that it was possible to adjust a belt tension.
Assembling a mini-sawmill with your own hands
First, I connect the second and third blocks, inserting one into one protruding ends of the pipes of each frame and fixing them with pins. Then I install the first unit from above and fix it with bolts. I connect the pulleys of the motor and the milling cutter with a belt and make it stretch. The machine is ready. At the end of the work, I dismantle the construction in reverse order.
Note
The dimensions of the frames are arbitrary and are selected based on the available parts (engine, table top, cutter and switchboard).
