REVOLTS - PLASTIC BOARD HEATING PANELS AND A HEATER FROM THEIR OWN HANDS
It happens that the power of the main heating is not enough: the batteries are hot, and the apartment is still cold. Many at the same time act traditionally: they acquire a fan heater or an oil heater and put it where necessary.
But what if you need to heat a balcony or a loggia?
It is not an easy task to get a central heating radiator there. You need to order a project, coordinate it with the BTI and other various authorities, and it's not a fact that you will be able to get all the necessary permits.
To conduct electricity to the loggia and install the heater there is also not very convenient, because it can be needed in other rooms. You can, of course, buy one more, but only the cost of electricity every year is higher.
WHAT IS REVOLTS
Developers of electrical heating systems are constantly improving their products, trying to make it more efficient and safe. An interesting option, for example, are the Revolts gypsum plasterboard. In appearance, this is an ordinary sheet of facing drywall size 60 x 60 x 1,2 cm. However, everything is not so simple: inside the gypsum shell there is a heating element - a polymer film with inserts from the carbon composite. And in the rear part of the panel are mounted heat-insulating material and wires for connection to the power grid.
You can use products just like any other finishing material. They are great for walling, ceiling or insulation of the same balcony. The only difference is that when heated from the inside, these plates become a source of infrared radiation. And the source is very economical: one panel for heating the area 1,3 m2 consumes no more than 100 W per hour. While the same heat gun, spending the same amount of electricity, will heat no more than 1 m2. The reason for the high efficiency of gypsum board heaters is that. that infrared radiation does not heat air, but objects and materials: floors and walls, furniture and doors. And already from them the heat energy is transmitted to the air.
It should be noted that Revolts is not the only device that heats the room in this way. At the present time, many different electrical appliances are being produced, working on the same principle. But due to the design features, the panels made of drywall have a higher reliability. The device of these units does not provide for the presence of parts subject to rapid wear. There are no spiral or tubular electric heaters in the panels.
which at any time can fail. There are no complex electronic blocks or any moving parts that are under constant load. In other words, there is simply nothing to wear and burn in these plates. True, they still need an automatic thermostat to control them, but it is not built into the design, but installed separately. In the event of a breakdown, replacing it will not be difficult. By the way, thanks to the control unit gipsokartonnye heaters do not work constantly, but only when it really is necessary. On average, this is no more than 5 hours per day, as a result of which one panel consumes half a kilowatt of electricity during such a time.

INSTALLING HEATSHIP PANELS
As already mentioned, the Revolts can be used to revet ceilings and walls. In the first case, before installing the frame, experts recommend that the concrete cover be insulated with a layer of particle board. Otherwise, much of the heat will go to the heating of concrete. When facing the same walls, the panels are mounted as conventional radiators or convectors - at an altitude of 20-30 cm from the floor. Nevertheless, it is believed that installing a heating gypsum board on the ceiling will have a greater effect, because with this arrangement of heat the heat will be distributed more evenly.
The number of panels required is calculated based on the area of the room. So. if its area is 15 m2, the calculation will be as follows: 15m \ 1,3mg = 11,5 pcs. This means that for heating you need at least 12 pieces of heaters.
However, if they are purchased as an additional, rather than the basic heating system, then you can save money. In this case, each device is capable of heating by 2 m2 living area. Therefore, to heat the room of the specified sizes it will be necessary to purchase not 12, but 8 panels.
MINUSES REVOLTS
The main drawback of Revolts panels is, of course, high cost. Retail price of one device is 1420 rub. Of course, when buying a set of several pieces, the manufacturer will make a discount and at the same time even provide a free thermostat. However, a set of heaters from plasterboard for a room larger than 15 m2 will still cost at least 10 thousand rubles. But you can also buy other, cheaper equipment. Consoles only that in the long term, the panels still have to pay off.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to consider them as full-fledged facing material. Plates can be painted and plastered, but such treatment will negatively affect their thermal efficiency. And, of course, these devices can not be cut and bent, like ordinary hypoksarton sheets.
The surface of the panels is heated not higher than 80-90 ° C, which makes it possible to classify this type of heating as low-temperature. On the one hand, this is an advantage, since similar devices are absolutely fireproof and it is impossible to burn them. On the other hand, there is an obvious minus, since the weak thermal power does not allow the devices to quickly warm up the zones that are more than a meter away from them.
CONCLUSION
Revolts gypsum boards are suitable for heating small rooms: loggias, balconies, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. Install them in apartments with high ceilings and in rooms that are larger than 16-17 m2, is hardly expedient. First, it will require a lot of money. Secondly, it's likely that you will not be able to warm up such premises quickly. Finally, third, the payback period of equipment in this situation will be too long.
