Mixer and water heater for a summer shower do it yourself - drawings and diagrams
TO WATER IN THE SHOWER ALWAYS BE WARM - MIXER OWN HANDS
My grandfather worked at the depot - he drowned a real locomotive, on which, perhaps, even Budennovtsy fought for Lenin. For the depot warmed water in this train, and his grandfather periodically went to him for cleaning and refueling. To me. By the way, I also managed to throw a coal and twist the knobs in this car. In general, my grandfather dragged a shower tank from work, which, judging by the thickness of its walls, will outlive my grandchildren.
A set of fountains on the solar battery.
Somehow, the grandfather and his father raised an incredibly heavy tank on the roof and put it there. The result was an analogue 200-liter barrel.
Now the shower tanks are made flat so that the temperature of the liquid in the tank rises evenly. In our case, heating from the hot walls of the tank, the water rises up, and the colder one goes down, closer to the drain hole. It turns out that colder water flows first, then warmer water, and hot water comes at the very end. So that all family members wash with water of the same temperature. I, as the youngest, climbed onto the shower and stirred the water with a stick, at the same time eating up the neighboring cherries.
The solution to this long-standing problem was a Chinese solar-powered fountain. I found it on Taobao.com (aliexpress.com appeared later) and immediately bought. Then he put it on the shelf and forgot about it. Then his wife found him. Since she was going to use my automatic mixer for what the Chinese did, I had to urgently install it in a barrel in my soul.
All the extra details I put in a box with not very necessary things, waiting in the wings.
Of the two strips of stainless steel bent the base so that, at any position at the bottom of the base does not block the drain hole. He attached a pump to the base with improvised means so that it would not turn and float away.
The solar battery was fixed on the roof so that the sun shone most on it in the afternoon, closer to the time when it would be necessary to use a shower.
When I bought this fountain, it cost about 600 rub. For a task like mine, any fountain will do. No tubes or extension cords should be put on the pump: it just has to stand on the bottom and throw cold water upwards through the outlet. Only for the winter it is desirable to remove it from the barrel - then it will last longer.

You walk through the village and you are amazed: at each site there is a “summer shower” booth with a black barrel on the roof. Such a “shower” is suitable only with a hangover - even on a hot day, the water in your barrel will not warm up properly! But it’s not difficult to get hot water without messing with a dangerous electric boiler in the basin.
How much of the barrel area on the roof do you think is exposed to direct sunlight? 20 per cent. The remaining 80, according to the laws of physics, give off heat. Add to this the breeze -I and all the futility of the idea is obvious.
All you need is a box. We make its side facing the sun from a strong transparent film, and cover the rest with a heat insulator (at least we just fill up the sawdust). That's all, but the temperature of the water in the barrel will now be constantly 60-70 degrees, and no problems with electricity bypassing the meter!
You can also get hot water. To do this, it is enough to attach two pipes to the barrel - one at the very bottom, the other at the top. We connect the nozzles with a black hose coiled into a spiral, and the hose itself is placed in a box, glued inside with foil, with a film wall on the sunny side. But there is one “but” here: there should not be air pockets in the hose, which means that constant circulation of water is necessary, i.e. as water is consumed, the barrel should immediately be replenished with a new one.
