DIY artificial snow

FROM WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL SNOW MADE?
The famous song sang: "But there is always something missing for me: in winter - in summer, in autumn - spring." And so it is to me: sometimes in the middle of spring and summer I really want to take home a little snowy winter. But even children know that snow melts at home, leaving puddles of ordinary water. And so one day I decided to make artificial snow! It has long been used for winter decor on an industrial scale. But if we can make our own snow, we will also be able to make beautiful crafts such as winter balls with glycerin or spruce snow-covered branches.
Council
If there are small children in the house, then before you start making snow, remember that it is most likely to spread into all the rooms, so prepare yourself beforehand for the mess in the apartment.

ARTIFICIAL SNOW FOR MOLDING
There are several options for making snow. It is possible to decorate curtains or window frames using ordinary wool. I tear it into small pieces and string it with a needle. White and fluffy, it will fulfill its function in the image of fake snow.
If you want to stick snow figures, then I can offer 2 options. For the first need only soap and toilet paper. Place the paper in a glass or earthenware bowl, and put a piece of white toilet soap on top. Place the container in the microwave for 1 a minute. Mass fluff. Then take out a bowl and add some water to it so that you can give shape to the mass. Snow is ready, you can sculpt snowmen!
For the second option you will need soda, starch and shaving foam. Just mix the ingredients in equal parts and all! Offer this mass to the child, and he will be busy modeling for a long time. You can use the fruits of his work as a home decor - your child will be happy!
MAGIC BALLS
Once upon a time I wanted to make balls, inside of which, if you shake, a snowstorm begins. These toys are sold in stores,
but you want to do this with your own hands! I took from the child old small toys (such as in kin-der-surprises), glued them to the bottom of ordinary glass jars. They poured glycerin and rubbed soap on a fine grater. It did not dissolve, but lay on the bottom. But then, after a small “shake-up”, the white flakes, whirling like snow, gradually descended. So it came out very original.
CREATED SNOW SPRAYS FROM ... PELVIS
And finally, I will share the method of making loose snow. At first I tried to use foam for this purpose, but it sticks to everything and does not really look like snow. In search of replacement, I remembered that inside sanitary pads and diapers there is a gel-adsorbent, which crumbles when swelling and soaking. Having gutted a couple of such products into the basin and flooded them with water for a while, I received a decent pile of snow. It is free-flowing, non-sticky and perfectly safe for children and pets. ! Essential - to guess the amount of water, but a sense of proportion quickly comes with experience First you can try on a small amount of gel.
Such snow can be scattered on the surface, smeared with glue, and it will look like snow.
Successful experiments!
