HOW TO MAKE A STAND FOR THE DUST BAG
CAPACITY FOR GARBAGE - IT WOULD BE LITTLE! BUT WHEN THE WORKSHOP IS LITTLE, AND THE WORK OF THE KIPIT, Sawing And Trimming On The Table And Under The Feet MAY STOP ANY CREATIVE EXPLOSION. ALEXANDER STEPANOV DECIDED THIS PROBLEM, MADE A FRIENDLY MATERIALS CONVENIENT BASKET FOR GARBAGE WITH A REMOVABLE BAG.

I love carpentry! In my free time I work in the winter on the balcony, and in the summer in the workshop at the cottage.
Waste during work is always collected in a bucket. It was quickly filling, and there was always a lot of garbage around. I had to pour everything into the bag and sweep. In the end, I decided to make it so that trimming and sawdust can be immediately collected in a bag and then carried to the garbage can.
FIX BAG
I usually use bags of synthetic fibers: polyethylene quickly tear because of the sharp edges of the wood. Folded bag size - 550 x 900 mm. By capacity it is three times more than a bucket. If you hang the bag on hooks, then it is inconvenient to use it, and to put such a bag, you need a suitable large capacity, but I did not have one.
I decided to make the frame height 60 cm of polypropylene pipes 0 25 mm and corners 90 °. At first I wanted to assemble a frame with square ends connected by racks. The distance between the racks went 225 mm. The container turned out to be narrow and unstable, and it would be difficult to pull out a filled bag from it, even if you only made two legs.
As a result, an octagonal frame with four legs was assembled from pipes and angles of 135 °. Knowing the circumference of the neck of the bag, I calculated the radius of the cylindrical container - 175 mm. The inner diameter of the cylinder is 300 mm. Calculated the length of the chord. After that, I picked up the details of the octagonal frame.
PREPARATIONS FOR THE FRAME
Polypropylene pipes are very convenient as a building material. At the same time, we heat the pipe outside and the fitting inside, insert the pipe into the fitting and let it cool. Plastic quickly sets, forming a strong connection.
For the manufacture of the frame used two pipes of 2 m (see table.). The distance between the corners is 76 mm. and between the tee and the corner - 9 mm. When welding, pipe sections are immersed in corners and tees to a depth of 16 mm. Heating the pipes in the apparatus for nine seconds, cooling the connection for at least four minutes.
It turned out that a filled bag is still not easy to pull through the top or between the racks. I cut one leg - and removing a full bag became easier. I assembled the second frame for the cottage with two legs. But the first attempt failed ...
First experience: using polypropylene pipes and corners (135 °), welded an octagonal frame on four legs.
FEATURE TECHNOLOGY
When welding polypropylene blanks, you should quickly insert the heated end of the pipe into the softened tee or corner. This must be done within a few seconds, at the same time ensuring the exact position of the parts in space.
Otherwise, the construction will come out a curve or it can not be assembled at all. So it happened to me when I tried to make a frame with two stands for country garbage: the octagonal top and bottom of the frame turned out to be oval, and the stands were inclined.
WELDING PATTERN
In order not to lose precious seconds and at the same time accurately assemble any constructions, I made a template that allows you to quickly connect the heated pipe and fitting, withstanding the angles between them.
I found in my household a square piece of 10 mm plywood with a side of 27 cm. One corner of the square was cut at an angle of 45 °. Then, along the cut edge with PVA glue (Tytan WB-33), I glued three strips. Side height - 50 mm. The length of the extreme short planks is 10 cm, and the average is not less than 23 cm. At the bottom corner of the plywood, I also glued a 10 cm long plank.
The wall thickness of the fittings is 5,5 mm. When welding pipe and fitting, this thickness decreases to 4,75 mm. Therefore, for exact positioning of the pipe relative to the fitting, glued wooden planochka ~ 4,8 mm thick in those places where the pipe should lie.
WELDING PARTS
Having removed the pipe and corner from the welding machine, I quickly put them into the template and connect them, pressing the corner to the side, and the pipe section to thin strips. Hold for at least 30 seconds. As a result, after several stages of welding, all fittings lie in one plane, the angles are 135 °, and the axis of the branches of the tees are at right angles to this plane.
Moving clockwise, I weld only one joint. It is impossible to firmly weld two pipes at once and a fitting (or two fittings with a pipe): the connection cools down quickly. Before proceeding to the welding of the next joint, it is necessary to give good grasp the previous one.
The frame is light, which made it possible not to remove the device from the stool. Calmly connected the octagon with the first leg, holding the end of the second leg opposite the other tee. Then a problem arose: how to weld the closing joint of the whole frame? This is the top of the second leg and the tee of the octagonal top of the frame. I had to warm up only one element of the joint. He took off the device and put it on the free end of the leg. Warm up time increased from 9 to 15 seconds. Then he put the softened end of the leg into the cold hole of the tee and pressed down on the octagon with effort.
It is easy to remove the filled bag from the frame on two legs. So that the bag does not accidentally fall out of the frame, I fix it, like linen clothespins, with brackets, which are used to fasten polypropylene pipes to the walls.
