Why LED bulbs burn out - REASONS AND SOLUTIONS
FREQUENTLY BURN LED BULBS? NAME OF CAUSES!
Manufacturers promise that the LED light bulbs will serve faithfully for many years. In fact, they have to be changed almost as often as incandescent lamps. If you also encountered this problem, our material will be you
LED bulbs are a complex technical device, which is why they are given a guarantee. Many manufacturers claim that LED bulbs compare favorably with incandescent bulbs, firstly, by a tenfold saving of electricity, and secondly, by operating time, which is 25 000-30 000 hours ). That is, if the lamp operates on average 1000-6 hours per day, it should be enough for 7-11 years, but unfortunately, in reality, everything happens differently.
BUSINESS IN LIGHT BULB
The main reason for the failure of LED lamps is poor build quality. It is justified only by the need to underestimate the market value. As practice shows, buyers are not willing to pay big money now for the promised savings in the future.
Therefore, some manufacturers replace the elements with cheaper ones. For example, to ensure the normal operation of the LEDs in the period of increasing the load on the network, a current stabilizer (driver) is provided in the lamp. But cheaper, and therefore more profitable to install a power supply instead. It provides a slight increase in the output voltage relative to the nominal, due to which the brightness of the illumination rises, but over time the LEDs overheat and burn out.
An LED lamp can get out of standing due to poorly soldered contacts. Quite often the lamp deteriorates due to overheating, which can happen for several reasons. The most frequent of them is the uneven distribution of thermal paste between the radiator and the aluminum substrate.
So - overheating can occur due to a matte plastic diffuser.
Instead, it is better to purchase a lamp with a glass bulb.
Initially, the body was made of aluminum, which allowed to effectively remove heat from the LEDs. To reduce the cost of production it was replaced with thermoplastic.
Inside they placed a thin aluminum radiator, which does not always cope with its task. This leads to overheating and lamp failure.

EXTERNAL CAUSES OF BURNING LED LAMPS
The first reason, and perhaps the main one, is unstable voltage in the power grid. This can be caused by unreliable connection of contacts, oxidation as a result of combining dissimilar materials (copper and aluminum), an increase in the load on the network in the evening, as a result - a voltage drop. To eliminate the problem with voltage surges, you can use a stabilizer.
The duration of the light bulbs depends on the state of the electrical device in which they are installed (chandelier, lamp, sconce). To fix the problem, it is necessary to inspect all the contacts in the cartridge, the bars in the cartridge, if necessary, clean and bend the tongues. You should also check all fasteners: due to a loosely tightened screw, arcing and burning can occur.
