When mulching with straw, they say, it is necessary to spill it with nitrogen-containing solutions more often, since it draws nitrogen from the ground. And if instead of straw to use mowed grass?

      - In fact, the ability of straw to draw nitrogen from the soil is greatly exaggerated, therefore, if you start to actively water the soil with a nitrogen-containing solution, there is a high probability of overfeeding the plants. As a result, they will intensively grow leaves to the detriment of the crop. So, if you mulch the beds with straw, you can increase the dose of nitrogen by 10-15%, no more.
As for the mowed grass: if you update it every two weeks - you do not need to add nitrogen additionally.
