Workbench at the same time for a circular and jigsaw with their own hands
Universal DIY Workbench
RECENTLY DECIDED TO DEVELOP JOINERY AND FOR THIS I BOUGHT A HAND ELECTRO Jigsaw, FRAZER AND CIRCULAR SAW. WORKING WITH THIS TOOL IS BETTER EVERYTHING ON THE LAYOUT - AND COMFORTABLE AND SAFE. THEREFORE, I MADE A SIMPLE AND UNIVERSAL DESIGN, WHICH CAN BE INSTALLED ANYWHERE.
I made a U-shaped workbench from multi-plywood 15 mm thick (photo 1). Bottom between the racks set for reliability and stability of two ribs (photo 2). All parts are connected to each other by screws.
On the table top marked the center. Taking it by the base, I drew a square with a side of 30, see. Cut an opening along the contour. On all its edges I chose a groove 15 mm (half the thickness of the table top) (photo 3)
Along the perimeter of the square obtained after sampling the grooves, I cut out three blanks from the same plywood (thickness 30 mm) - platforms for fastening three tools with which I will work on a workbench.
On the edge of each cut out square I also chose a groove (as on the worktop). In the first billet, milled an opening for fastening the jigsaw (photo 4), in the second - for the base of the fraser (photo 5). and in the third - for the manual circular saw. On each plywood base on the bolts secured the appropriate tool.
In order to securely fix the wooden platform with the electric device on the workbench table top, I fastened two latches to the last one, which I made from metal plates (6 photo). I install each device on the workbench upwards.
As a rule, no workbench is complete without a carriage. The latter (photo 7) made universal for all tools.
Important!
Each plywood platform must be flush with the worktop tabletop when installed. The slightest bias or projection will affect the quality of the workpiece.
As a result, I had a compact workbench that does not take up much space in the workshop, and it is very easy and convenient to process the necessary blanks on it.
