PHYTOPHTOR IN THE GREENHOUSE: WE TAKE ACTION
The phytophthora pathogen fungus is harmless while it is in the soil. However, if he moves to plants - and you can completely remain without a crop. Therefore, it is so important to observe crop rotation and place tomato and potato plots farther apart.
In addition, it is necessary to carry out preventive measures throughout the season.
1. Mulch the beds with hay, mowed grass, straw.
2. Once a week, spray plants with one of these means:
- divorced according to the instructions Fitosporin or Trichodermin;
- infusion of garlic (100 g of chopped cloves in 10 l of water);
- diluted whey (1: 10);
- broth of tinder fungus (100 g of crushed mushroom in 10 l of water);
- infusion of pine shoots (a third of a bucket of chopped needles in 10 l of water).
However, even if you adhere to all of the above, the disease can "settle" on your tomato or potato beds. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to cure plants completely, but it is possible to slow down and weaken late blight.
As soon as you notice the first signs (dark spots on the leaves and stems), cut off the affected leaves and remove from the garden. Spray all plants (even apparently healthy) with one of the fungicides: 1% Bordeaux liquid, Acrobat, Ridomil Gold, Tatu, Quadris, Strobi, Skor, Topaz, Horus, Fundazol, HOM.
Repeat processing after 7-10 days. Then, once every 5-7 days, spray the plants with one of the above remedies (paragraph 2).
IMPORTANT: Gather tomatoes after cultivating plants with Bordeaux liquid can be done in two weeks. PURCHASES — LATER THREE WEEKS.
How to get rid of phytophthora in a greenhouse? SALT WILL HELP!
If you absolutely do not want to process tomatoes with chemicals, dilute in a bucket of water 1 Art. table salt. Spray the plants with a solution. This is a fairly radical measure: the plants themselves can suffer from it (leaves and flowers crumble, sometimes small ovaries), but already grown tomatoes will be protected.
EXPRESS COUNCIL
ALEXANDER MOUNTAIN, CAND. SC-SCIENCE, G. MINSK:
Have you noticed the first signs of late blight? In the morning on a warm sunny day, close the door and windows in the greenhouse tightly. The goal is for the air in the greenhouse to warm up to + 45 ... +50 degrees. This will not kill the plants, greatly weaken and partially destroy the causative agent of late blight.

HOW NOT TO PUT PHYTOPHTOR IN THE GREENHOUSE
I advise you to hang open bottles with iodine under the roof of the greenhouse and next to the vents. In addition, spray tomato seedlings with sour milk curd (1 liter per 5 liters of water). Repeat this spraying every 2-3 weeks - and you will be with tomatoes until the fall!
