DIY infusion of rosemary - for what and how to apply in the garden
APPLICATION OF THE BAGULICA FROM MOUSE DISEASES AND PESTS - MY REVIEWS
Many folk remedies are truly universal. Unless, of course, they are used within reasonable limits.
I really like to experiment in the garden. I especially like to use the so-called all kinds of folk remedies. For example, once I thought: if the smell of wild rosemary cannot be tolerated by the mouse, then why not find another application for this plant?
To begin with, I decided to make an infusion from it. I took 200 g of ground raw material (leaves and stems), poured 1 l of water, set it on fire, boiled 15 min., And when the liquid cooled down, filtered it, added 5 l of water and mixed it well. Everything, the infusion is ready for use. But where to use it?
And then I remembered that in the garden on a black currant leaves began to curl. And most of all this happens on the tops of branches, and in such numbers that they have to be cut and destroyed. What’s the matter, I haven’t figured out yet: either the aphid is indulging in, or some kind of disease.
But when I sprayed the bushes with the infusion of rosemary, then all this misfortune disappeared - just a week later all the leaves on the currant were in order. And after that I brought the infusion of rosemary into the category of universal remedies for protecting garden plantings. As soon as some bush or tree begins to stall, I first use this remedy.
Therefore, when the mushroom season begins, we all go to the forest with the whole family: all the mushrooms are harvested, and I harvest the rosemary for the future. But not only him. I also collect pine cones in the same place, which I then scatter under the hosts: both beautiful and weeds do not grow. Well, of course, at the same time I fill several bags with rotted needles, which I cover in the spring between strawberry rows: here you have fertilizer and an excellent mulch. My family laughs: they say who gets out into the forest for what.
Now I want to say a few words about dry mustard powder. When I sow radishes, salads, peas and radishes, then immediately after sowing, I sprinkle all the soil in the beds with this product. In the same way, I do it after each watering, until the plants grow and get stronger.
And young shoots do not damage any pests. At all! Even slugs do not come close to these beds. But the dignity of dry mustard is not limited to this.
I used to have poorly stored winter garlic, and it occurred to me to try to sprinkle it with this powder. And what do you think? The crop was preserved almost without loss! Of course, I always do that now.
But the experiment with fertilizing tomatoes with fermented bread crusts did not end at all as expected, although I prepared the “mash” strictly according to the recipe from Dacha: I filled the crusts with water for three days, filtered, diluted with water and watered. And the thing is that I fertilized tomatoes several times this season with this infusion, and the soil in the greenhouse became acidic - by the autumn, wood louse covered everything there with a continuous green carpet. Now the earth needs to be restored to normal condition, healed. No wonder they say that everything is good in moderation.
